2008 Sandwich Freedom Days

Parade Entry Form

We would like to invite you to join us for the 2008 Sandwich Freedom Days Parade to be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008. Line-up will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Sandwich Fair Grounds with the parade starting at 10:00 a.m. We hope to fill this year’s parade with floats, bands, clowns and everything else that makes a successful parade. Our community parade is not only an excellent advertisement for all of you, but a great family outing as well. Remember, a parade is only as good as its entries, so please join us this year to help make our parade a huge success! You can pick up your number the day of the parade at the Suydam Road entrance by the livestock barns.

First place trophies will be awarded in the following categories: Best Marching Unit, Best Historical Unit, Best Antique Car, Most Unusual Unit, Best Religious Unit, Best Commercial Unit, Best Hometown Unit, Most Patriotic Unit and Best Visiting Unit. There will also be a Judge’s Choice Grand Prize trophy awarded.

The winners will be announced from the gazebo, downtown Sandwich, within an hour after the conclusion of the parade. Please be prepared to pick up your trophy at the time of the announcement. If you are unable to be there at that time, check with the information booth during our celebration.
